Searching for sugar man

very nice documentary... nice songs and absolutely amazing lyrics ... these movie lines also touch me a lot ... "you were bigger than Elvis in South Africa"..... "certainly much popular than Rolling Stone".... Sixto Rodríguez: "what did you mean?"..... "did you believe it's a good album?" Sixto Rodríguez: "i did my best with it..." "Were you surprise that the record didn't sell?" Sixto Rodríguez: "it's music business... so no guarantee" ..absolutely true... the reality is even you are talented.... sometime life just goes in a different direction than you expect ..... talents are not always recognized.. that's the cruel reality... if you were Rodriguez... how would you deal with this frustration? .... can you truly live a life like him? .... Sixto Rodríguez's daughter: "he certainly lives a very very modest life"... "no excess, no glamorous to his life" ...

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Quoted from "Diary of a Wimpy Kid": Today was Thanksgiving, and it started off like it always does: with Aunt Loretta showing up tours early. Mom always makes me and Rodrick "entertain" Aunt Loretta, and that means talk to her until the rest of the family shows up. The biggest flights me and Rofrick have ever has were over who has to greet her first. ... This happened to me when i was a kid...a very sweet memory .... biggest flight with my sisters on who has to greet my parent's guests first..pretty funny when looking back..

模仿犯 - 宮部美幸

gosh.. i am finally done !! i literally spent half a year on and off reading this... the story is really LONG ... but absolutely amazing..    it amazingly counterbalanced by the in-depth exploration of the psychological and sociological aspects of a crime.....and also focus on the subtle elements of the personality of every characters.... it doesn't has much fancy carefully crafted words, but the story can successfully guide you into a stimulating relationship with every characters..... every characters are vivid in portrayal for you to capture the vision, the emotional or physical characteristics....... this remains one of the best 宮部美幸 's collections i like... very much recommended!!      http://www.ehow.com/info_8464610_good-ways-describe-character-book.html#ixzz2YFv4Upfe

The Catcher in the Rye - J. D. Salinger

honestly I dun quite get what Salinger was trying to say when i was a teen first reading the book. as time passed, I start to understand how the way Holden sees the world around him and his struggle for identity. and now... I must say this is an amazing book. as an adult looking back at my teenage years, I gain different insights into Holden. I can somehow recognize Holden as a speaker for my generation even the book was first published on 1951. you may concur with the idea that nearly everyone in the world is "phony" and you disdain them illogically... just like Holden wanting to be a socially isolationist...thinking that this is the only way out.  But the way that Holden finally realizes that relationships especially family relationship are important and worth sacrificing isolation. this book perfectly captures the conflict - how rebellious teenagers are repulsed and yet strangely drawn to the adult world at the same time. this is a highly enjoyable piece! without doubt, it...
