英華急刪學生黑社會網站

黑社會用語一直是本港社會的禁忌,法律亦有所限制。本報早前接獲讀者報料,指深水埗直資英中英華書院有學生製作黑社會題材的網站,內容涉及幫派入會儀 式、誓詞及暗語等,質疑用意。校方承認該網站是三年前的學生電腦科作業,已即時刪除。有教育界人士指該學生的作業選題不恰當,易造成外界誤解。

據了解,該網站是○六年英華書院中三學生的電腦科作業,學生須自行選定題目設計網站,並上載到學校伺服器對外發布。

其中一名學生以黑社會為題製作網站,內容涉及幫派歷史、入會儀式、誓詞、暗語等,該生在首頁聲稱設立網站並非宣揚不法行為,只希望透過披露被視為禁忌的敏感資料,避免青少年因好奇而模仿或加入黑社會。

英華書院校長李志華回應稱,曾與設計該網站、現於該校升讀中六的學生接 觸,認為學生在首頁已聲明製作目的及加上警惕語句,不擔心因而影響校譽。對於網站涉及較敏感的黑社會題材,以及網站放在伺服器長達三年都沒有刪除,李校長 解釋,網站純粹以老師為對象,校方無意對外散布,強調教師會按經驗及教學需要,小心處理敏感題材。校方在本報查詢後,已即時刪除有關網站。

教育評議會副主席何漢權認為,該學生作業選題並不恰當,而校方將該網站保留在互聯網上,亦易造成外界誤解與不安,「黑社會是非法組織,學生不應巨細無遺地披露相關儀式及術語,而教師批改後亦沒有必要保留網站,甚至開放給公眾瀏覽。」他指,教師應為學生作業的選題把關,尤其在新高中學制之下,學生有更多機會進行專題研習,教師應該給予學生適當指導與擬設道德框架。

警方回覆本報查詢時表示,商業罪案調查科    科技罪案組已就該學生網站進行深入調查,證實網站資料不涉刑事成分。警方已與該校聯絡,得悉有關網站已從互聯網移除,並向該校在處理相關敏感資料時須注意的事項提出建議。

教育局發言人則指,當局建議學校在進行專題研習時,應把德育及公民教育等多個關鍵項目,一併運用於學習過程中,培養學生建立正面價值觀和積極人生態度。如有需要處理具爭議性題材,教師應了解學生設題的動機,並要求學生從多角度檢視問題,探究以不同方法處理,最後要求他們進行總結及反思。

Personally, i dun see the problem on such assignment. Education is to help develop critical thinking, but not spoon feeding..are those educator saying that doing academic research on gang cannot develop positive value/ proactive attitude? i dun see the correlation between those...the key is academic research..but not being a real gang member...i think those educator need to be more open-minded. They should be the one who devoted to the exploration of the frontier of learning.

The world is changing, traditional spoon feeding education is not working anymore..you can't just "tell" your student what is right and wrong. dun get me wrong. i am not saying student need to "experience" before knowing something is obviously wrong (like you dun need to take drug in order to know the harmful effect). But i am trying to say that u need to let student "understand" why is right and wrong.

I think having such assignment is a good way to train students to hv a questioning mind. we dun need to be afraid of the word "skepticism". sometime it may be good for the youngster....it's not just the responsibility of university/ college to help develop critical thinking skill...secondary school should do so as well...becoz when you are junior, your character has pretty much being shaped already..
